MAJOR PROJECTS
Rehab of Beach Haven West Sewer (Currently in Phase 5). Led to
improvement of water quality for over 186 acres of Bayfront. Unheard of in State
of NJ.

Rehab of parks throughout town.

ADA Playground built at Manahawkin Lake. Communication Boards installed at
numerous parks.

Road Rating to ensure the worst roads receive priority.

Lagoon survey resulting in the first ever Township-wide permits on dredging.

Rebuilt communication with our Federal, State, County and local partners resulting in millions of dollars in Grants.

Municipal storm water (MS4) permit and storm water compliance to ensure better
drainage in the Township.

Sustainable Jersey Certifications: Bronze Certified 2020, Silver Certified 2023.

Township’s bond rating increased to AA in the S&P and from Aa3 to an Aa2 in Moody’s,
the first upgrades in Township history.

In 2022, the Township was recognized as a "Healthy Up and Coming Town" and in 2023
was awarded the "Healthy Town" designation with the New Jersey Health Care Quality
Institute’s Mayors Wellness Campaign. This is the highest designation and highlights the
focus on mental health, older adults, and connecting the community to available health
and wellness resources.

Increased staffing levels of the Police force to serve growing population.

Plan Endorsement approved by the State Planning Commission of New Jersey in 2022.

Accreditation Commission for the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police
awarded the Stafford Township Police Department with “Accredited” status.

Fun Historical Stafford Twp Fact:
Stafford Township has largely been under Republican Leadership for the last 40 years. Democrats admit they move to Stafford for our reasonable taxes. Even Democrats don't want to live in towns run by Democrats.
We Made History!
We have increased Stafford's bond rating to AA in S&P and AA2 in Moody's- first upgrades in township history! We have made major necessary improvements to infrastructure and increased the surplus- all while managing to LOWER the 2024 Tax Rate.
If There's A Grant, We Will FIght For it!
To date, our team has successfully applied for and received over $22 Million Dollars In Grants for the betterment of Stafford Township. Grants spare tax dollar usage. Grants = GOOD.
Fun Surplus Fact:
Having a healthy surplus prepares Stafford Twp for unforeseen emergencies without having to utilize new tax dollars. Surplus = WISE PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE.
November 5th 2024 General Election Facts:
The Stafford Republicans are the ONLY Republicans running for Mayor and Council on your November ballot. Election Day is Tuesday Nov 5th. Polls open 6am to 8pm. Early Voting begins on Sat 10/26 thru Sun 11/03. Early Voting Sundays polls open from 10am to 6pm. Early Voting Mon thru Sat polls open 10am to 8pm. Stafford has an Early Voting polling location at the Southern Ocean Resource Center 179 S Main St, West Creek, NJ 08092.
